PAREENA Developers offering an option to get one’s home custom-made the way one desires.
Customisation in India is no more restricted to apparels and footwear, the real estate industry too has offering homes designed the way you want them to be. The trend is increasing in order to meet the varied demands of customers with different tastes, while maintaining the exterior looks of the apartments uniform. Mr. Virender Verma , Director, Pareena infrastructure, says, “The feature that excites customers about custom-made houses is that they are designed on the buyers’ personal preferences and amendments are carried on as the building process progresses.”
One can get an apartment customised in several different ways. Sanjay Bansal, Founder and Chairman, AHI Technologies, says, “A custom-made home can take care of customised needs such as cabinets, flooring, appliances, home decor, wall decor, room sizes, exteriors, etc.” Here are some common examples of customisation:
Combined Apartments: This is normally asked by those looking for a big apartment in a society offering relatively smaller options. This works well for joint families, with the one main door of two apartments merged together.
Customised room sizes: This is an option that varies as per the requirements of the family concerned. While some may opt for bigger rooms, others may want bigger bathrooms and kitchen. The only part of the house that may remain untouched in such a scenario are the balconies, which developers do not touch to avoid tampering with the uniform look of the building from outside.
Desirable amenities: Whether it is the choice between a bath tub and a glass cubical shower in the bathroom, or the different options for a gas stove and hot plates in the kitchen, one can list down the amenities one needs and eventually discuss the needs with the developer.
Fittings and fixtures: From the kind of fans and lighting, to the design of the doors and windows, one can ask for specific detailing in one’s apartment. This of course is not applicable in case one wishes to buy a raw flat.
Furniture: While this is not applicable in case of a raw or a semi-furnished apartment, if one is opting for a furnished apartment, one can desire the kind of furniture one wants. For example, Indian-made furniture is a lot cheaper than Italian-made, which is at this point and time the popular offering by several developers.
While trying to give newer experience to customers, Pareena infrastructure is open to the option of customisation. Since it is a subjective issue, customers are normally encouraged to list down their needs and discuss. Whether all the requirements are fulfilled or not is always case specific.
